The Whiskey Circle is when any number of participants (as long as it is more than one) crouch down in a circle, passing between them in counter-clockwise fashion a bottle of bottom shelf whiskey. Each person takes a shot directly from the bottle, sans chaser, and the bottle continues passing the hands and throats of each participant until said bottle is empty.
This quaint pastime is typically the weekend tradition for many residentsĀ of Scribner Village, a small, sectioned-off housing project tribal hut community in the city of Saratoga Springs, New York.
